Meet the Principal

Dr. Cindy Ruesch started in her role as Principal at Rose at the start of the 2024-25 school year. Before joining Barrington 220, Dr. Ruesch worked as the Director of Language Acquisition in St. Charles CUSD 303. 

She holds three master's degrees: one in Women's Studies from Roosevelt University, one in School Administration from North Carolina State University, and one in Gifted, Talented & Creative from Arkansas State University. She also holds a doctorate in Curriculum & Instruction from Loyola University.

Dr. Ruesch and her husband have three teenage boys. They also have two dogs, Bo the Goldendoodle, and Pearl the Bernedoodle. Some fun facts about Dr. Ruesch is that she loves coffee and attended kindergarten and first grade in Fairbanks, Alaska. Her dad is a retired Army officer.
