Welcome to the homepage for the Barbara B. Rose PTO! The PTO works year round to ensure successful relationships between parents, staff and students.
Our Mission
The purpose of the Rose PTO is to work in the interest of the children, to promote understanding and cooperation between parents and teachers, and to initiate and encourage ideas and activities which shall be in the interest of Barbara B. Rose School.
Our Organization
Rose’s PTO is comprised of volunteer members filling over (25) active committees. We promote a school community where teachers and administrators can do their best work with the resources we provide and help make school fun. Through fundraising efforts, the PTO is able to donate funds to purchase educational materials and equipment, upgrade the playground, provide resources to teachers and the school, arrange field trips and other school activities. For the PTO to be truly effective, it is essential to have parental involvement. Whether you have 30 minutes or a couple hours, there are many ways you can get involved. Your ideas, your time, and your talents are surely needed! By volunteering, you will enjoy interacting with the children, become friends with other parents and accomplish things that truly make a difference. If interested in joining the PTO, please complete the PTO Membership Form and email it back to roseptosecretary@gmail.com. These forms will help us gauge your level of interest as well as areas of interest. You can also view the 2024-25 committee slate and sign up for positions. While most of the positions have been filled, opportunities are still available and many committees require additional help on the day of their event.
